Outlook 2000 problem

Hi,
Been using my Outlook 2000 on XP for a year no problemo... then on
Friday it started acting up. When I reply to or forward a message it deletes
the original one rather than leave it in the Inbox. Didn't change anything
can't see what to change. Done a re-install this morning and still no joy.
Anyone out there help me.
