Hi,

Upon running Ad aware SE It scans untiil it reaches "C:|_RESTORE|ARCHIVE" and then Norton intervenes and deletes the following:

C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\AAWTMP\C4291406873\11E714\A0071820.CPY

...it then scans abit moe and Norton steps in again and deletes:

C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\AAWTMP\C4291406873\11E714\AA0071827.CPY

...and then the same again but with:

C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\AAWTMP\C4291406783\126785\AA0066282.CPY

At the end of the scan it(AD AWARE SE) cannot delete the following files:

C:\_RESTORE\TEMP\OKSHOOK.1
C:\_RESTORE\TEMP\A0098713.CPY

So then it asks to Re-run adaware from re-boot to delete these files but fails once again.

Usually around five minutes after start-up WIN PATROL picks up the above 2 filesand asks to delete them on the next re-boot so i confirm that, but this is just going round and round and i want to get these files off my PC.

Any ideas?

Solved by deleting System restore points.
