well im not sure whats wrong but my computer keeps on doing this every hour or so



then everything just freezes and i have to restart i tried reinstalling the drivers and stuff and it still happens any clue why or whats wrong?

Is it only crashing during gameplay or all the time?

it crashes all the time but like normally if im just listineing to music or talking on aim it happens like once every hour or so when i try playing some kind of game it happens every 15minutes

How long had your computer been running when you ran Everest?

i dono if this could have any effect on it but about a month ago my fan stopped working and my processor fried the guy that was fixing it replaced the fan and the processor then about 2 weeks after i got it back this thing started happening is it possible that maybe my motherboard or graphic card got some sort of defekt after that?

Let me make sure I understand this correctly. Your CPU fan stopped working. Then your CPU got hot enough it fried itself? Then you replaced the CPU?

If that is the case in there is a decent chance that the heat also damaged the socket on your motherboard. There is no reason in not testing the other parts first though.

well im not really sure my pc just kind of turned off by itself and then when i tried turning on the pc all the lights and stuff were blinking but nothing showed up on the screen and i didnt hear any noise inside of my pc so i gave it to the guy and thats what he told me

im not really good with computers and i dont have a floppy disc so this thing is gonna be hard for me to do

Read on in the guide. You can use a CD. I don't have a floppy drive either, they aern't good for much anymore. Do you know if "the guy" replaced the processor or just the cooling unit?

Try downloading here: Memtest 86. If you have nero then you could also use that to burn the ISO.
