Repairing/reloading Win XP

Like a fool I am I tried a new disk utility. Now I can't boot my computer. I get a message that I am missing NTLDR.

1) How can I boot my computer & put this back on. I had my son make me a cd with the program. I do NOT have a floppy drive on the computer only 2 cd\dvd read-write drives.
2) How do I repair WIN XP (sp2) without loosing all my data & programs.

In trying #1 I am told that "access is denied". I am unable for some reason not being allowed to copy the file(s).

I am trying NOT to loose my data by going the route 2 method. :whistling: Any other ideas. I hope you can help me save my data.
