Problem with DivX Web Player

Whenever I try to watch anything online using the divx web player my firefox crashes and I have to restart it...I tried reinstalling the entire divx installation pack again and it made no difference. Any ideas, gents?

This error can be caused because the DivX player plug-in is conflicting with one of your Firefox extensions. Therefore disable them all and see what happens, re enabling them one by one to see which one it doesn't like.
