Well I installed office 2003 the other day and havent had any problems with excel or any other office products but everytime I open word I get a box that says winword.exe- application error the application has failed to initialize. I have uninstalled and reinistalled the software to no avail. I searched for a normal.dot file like I used too with word 2000 and other previous versions and I was not able to locate one. So if you guys and gals have any ideas that might help I would appreciate it.

Well guys we figured out the problem. Kinda stupid but we actually were pushing this out from out office server and apparently we had a poweroutage in the middle of it that we were not aware of. The problem however was that I had to uninstall office reboot uninstall ofice reboot and then uninstall office for a third time and finally it got everything removed and then I was able to reinstall office after the third reboot.
