Dvd drive won't play discs

Hi
I am trying to play a dvd on the dvd drive, but i keep getting a dialogue box that says REALPLAY caused an invalid page fault in
module CLVSD.AX at 016f:021a9caf.

Is there a way I can either fix this problem, or change the default program the player uses to windows media player?
