Windows XP Activation Problem

Ive just upgraded my machine, formatted my drives and installed my Windows XP Pro.
For some reason im having trouble activating it.
The "Windows Actication" window that you get when you either click the Activation pop-up in the task bar or type "oobe/msoobe /a" into Run isnt displaying properly. Its just a window filled with code (see the link below)

Anyone got any ideas how I can correct this or activate windows another way, without Re-installing??

Try from step 4 here

4. Reinstall the Oobe.inf file. To do this, follow these steps:

no luck with that. Its still the same.

Any other ideas?

If you ran steps 4, 5 and 6 you will need to ask Microsoft

Rang Microsoft and was on the phone to them for about 1hr 15mins. The guy guided me around some big mad route but its finally sorted.
