I've got some very persistant adware/spyware that I just can't get rid of and its really slowing my laptop down.

I've ran Spybot and deleted what was found, I then tried to run Ad-Aware but it stalls permanently on the conditional scan section. I've tried this 5 times and the result is the same every time, I've even tried it in safe mode but no luck. I've also tried to run the Trend Micro House Call but whatever virus I've got its stopping it running and I just get an serious error whenever I try to run it and all of my Explorer windows shutdown....!?

Here's my HiJackThis log file after carrying out the above steps.

Help is much apreciated..

Thanks for the reply.

I've managed to sort my problem out with a combination of Ad-Aware, Spybot, Spywareblaster and HiJackThis. It took a while but I seem to be fully clear now.

Cheers
