hey i posted a topic a few days ago....i am having a problem watching video clips. the clip will start to play and then a window pops up saying internet explorer needs to close. i have this information about the error, hopefully somebody can help me. also i tried to reinstall wmp but it didnt work. thanks

by your description, I would say corrupted cache...not hard to fix, but not too easy.

You can try the easy way first....

In IE< TOOLS> INTERNET OPTIONS, then DELETE FILES and DELETE COOKIES

WARNING: You will loose all saved internet site paswords!

The hard way is to reboot into safe mode, log in as administrator and delete the folders (windows will rebuild) for the affected user
