Well, if you mean single player Sniper Elite is really slow sniping game. I didn't play it much because I'm not into the slow gameplay.

Multiplayer I always liked the Delta Force series. America's Army is also enjoyable.

But for sniper only games Sniper Elite is the only one I can think of and its kind of older.

Usually when I want a good sniping game, I play Call of Duty 2, rifle only server. Theres a fair few of them about and you can pick the game up quite cheaply right now.

Alternatively, I sometimes play Counter Strike: Source and try to use just rifles but I must admit this isn't perfect.

For a one-hit-kill sort of game, try the Insurgency mod for Half Life 2. Although it involves rifles, machine guns, shotguns etc... The pace of play is very slow, and may be what you'd like.

hehe yeah...i love the stick people games...like stick fighters and things of that nature...just makes it all the more ludicrous

The more realistic games are good for that, Operation Flashpoint and its sequel Armed Assault(Flashpoint is good ArmA is really hard game though) i like the graw games kinda somewhere in between and you can play as a sniper if you like it.

Yea, graw is great if you like ordering soldiers to walk a few feet down a street into cover, and then have them walk down a different street, then through a building filled with enemies to get there... Quite possibly the worst pathfinding AI of any game ever made (at least in my experience). Not to mention numerous other bugs (achieving objectives, only to have the game tell you that you haven't, requiring you to restart the mission), and just random crashes to the desktop. (Some of this might have been fixed through patches... I don't know, as it was uninstalled and sold very shortly after it was installed.)

Other Tom Clancy games are alright though, like Rainbow Six 3. Speaking of Tom Clancy, the Splinter Cell series is great, especially the first two games. They are stealthy shooters, not all run and gun, so perhaps you would like them.

I would go with call of duty 2, boy i havent played that in awhile mainly i gotten stuck into BF2, you can snipe there too, but expect to get knifed, shot, or artillery

actually gears of wars is sort of like snipeing. well you can but its also not so upfront as its ore realistic e.g taking cover and ordering your squads around and stuff but it isnt a complete sniper game

You could try Halo and set a map with all snipers...
