Monitor is completely blank, when pc turned on, nothing displayed.

I know its the graphics card that is the problem as i have plugged the monitor into my laptop and it works fyn.

Is there anything i can do before buying a new graphics card.

Help!!!!!!!! the £100 callout "experts" are coming and would like to save that money rather than spending it on someone to tell me what i already know.

A.S.A.P. responses would be very nice

Might not be the graphics card, if it was it should have beeped at you about it. more likely a mainboard problem.
