Laptop, WinXP Sp2:

I have been through the loop on this one.

I have run CounterSpy and CWShredder. I have several HJT logs and a ServicesFilter log.

I am at a loss as to what to do, I have very carefully tried to eliminate the spyware from this laptop. This is a remote user and I had it in my hands for about 6 hours last week, cleaned most of the garbage, such as Shopathomeselect, and a part of CWS off. It looked like it was clean then stuff is showing back up.

ZoneAlarm Pro is showing abetterinternet.com connection attempts.

Here is the first log at the start of this today:

Tried to run a virus scan, scanning engine fails (Symantec Corporate) due to error from shell problem, edited Shell entry in the registry. Here is the hijack this log after those attempts. Virus scan still doesn't work, and the user is off site at this time so I have no way to attempt a re-install at this time.

Here is the latest HJT log:

I am stumped, the only thing I see is the last entry in the service area. That could be legit since this laptop uses a Broadcom Wirless chipset.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

TIA
