i have burned several movies and all playin computer but not in my standalone dvd player...put disk in and says no disk...have had dvds burnt for me by and friend and they all work fine...both dvd+R and -R worked fine in dvd player prior to me burning them myself..is there something missing like codecs or something...doesn't seemed to maybe finalize right..anyhelp to get this corrected would be great...im runing out of options

where did the movies come from? some times the source is helpfull in determining the problems you're describing

The movies are coming from another dvd..i copy them computer and tried burning them through nero and dvdfab gold and dvdfab platnium...work fine on computer but when loading in dvd player says no disks...prebvious burnt dvds from a friend have worked..my burner is a sony dvd dru-120c...tried both +R and -R dvds and nothing works...says burnt successfully..had no prior dvd software on computer till i got burner and added nero

This sounds very sketchy to me and i get a little suspicious that you may be coping dvd's that you shouldnt be. Are these recorded movies or are these like rented or bought dvd's? If the later is the case we cannot help you as this is illegal and breaks forum rules.

no they are movies i made and the disks are scratch and no longer play as well and i was trying to make another copy...it is not illegal what i am doing..
