Well not sure what is going on screen will just go black, but computer doesn't seem to be processing (it's like it is in sleep mode)only thing i can do is kill the power and restart.

Either your monitor or PC may be incompatible with one of Windows power-saving options. Go into control panel, change the view to "Classic" and click the icon labelled "Power Options". Under "Power Schemes" use the drop-down arrow and select "Presentation", then click 'OK' to save the new setting. This setting disables all the power-saving options.

If you have a screensaver set, and you are using an LCD monitor, I would set the screensaver option to "None" as they are uneccessary on LCD screens.

If the problem persists regardless of these new settings, well at least we know it's got nothing to do with those settings and we can investigate it further if you submit another post.
