Every half hour, a window pops up telling me to register my computer, remind me to register, or to not show this prompt again. I've chosen all the options and registered my computer multiple times, but it keeps on popping up. I don't know if this a Vista problem or a HP problem. I hve an hp tx1120us.

Contact HP. It sounds like something went awry when they installed and validated your copy of Windows Vista.
They will probably tell you to run the recovery parition HP uses, so you may want to burn a copy of your files to CD or DVD's, or an external hard drive.
