Hi,

Does anyone know how I can install a windows webcam on openSUSE 10.2? When installing the drivers for the webcam on windows it also installs amCAM. I have been searching all day for the linux alternatives for the driver and the amCAM application. And have not yet found anything. I am currently trying to install the windows .exe setup file with the drivers and amCAM by useing WINE. But as most would no, not all windows based applications run successfully with WINE on linux.

Does anyone know of any alternatives?

Webcam informaion:

Name : RainbowWebcam Color
Ref: 5790A
USB 1.1
and is meant for WIN 98SE/Me/2000/XP

Any other information you may need?
