Outlook express, loss of connection

I have loss the ability to send messages on Outlook Express 6. I still receive messages but am unable to send any. Am given the error Code of: 0x800CCCOF.

Where do I go to correct this?

I have WinXP Home Edition, have DSL (with SBCYahoo).

Have you deleted anything latelely that might have to do with Outlook? I was just using a program called Grouper and it installed some .NetTool thing. I then deleted the .Net thing and I believe that the same error came up. I'm not positive though.

Another response might be that your outgoing host server is wrong considering you can still recieve mail. Double check to make sure that your outgoing server is entered correctly.
