Linksys usb adapter problem

I have been having problems with my computer for a few weeks. ive been getting help here in the malware thread and networking. here are forums so u can see whats up. http://www.geekstogo...436#entry992436

I have finally come down to buying a new network adapter. So I got a Linksys USB adapter. I installed it fine and it connected to the wireless router fine. Just still no internet. is there something I should do so computer looks just to that wireless for internet? It's not the router or anything. I have 3 other things that connect to the internet through that router and they are all fine. Just this computer is [bleep]ed up. I swear im 2 seconds from system wipe.
