I've got a problem that I haven't yet found a solution for.
I was using Comodo firewall and removed it today.
Of course, the Security pop up made sure I knew I wasn't protected.
I went to turn on Windows firewall while I cleaned out my files and found that, according to the Security Center, I had 2 AV's running. One of them I never installed - Comodo's AV.
Now I'm stuck with the Security Center telling me I 2 AV's and that Comodo firewall is not running.
How can I reset the Security Center or fix this problem.
I haven't found any evidence of Comodo AV in the files or the Registry.
And I've removed all traces of the firewall that I could find.
Hope you can help.
Thanks.
J.

Short of re-installing Windows, I can only suggest you try System Restore if it offers you date before you installed Comodo. If you installed Comodo several months ago however, you'll be out of luck as the old Restore Points get deleted as new ones are made, depending on how much disk space System Restore is allowed to use.
Start->All programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore.

pip22,
Thanks for the help.
I did a system restore and it did fix my problem with the security center but other problems still are in evidence.
You're right. I'll have to erase the whole disk and reinstall the OS.
All the problems I've been having lately seem to be connected to Comodo somehow.
Live and learn.
