I'm not really sure how to respond to this, because you are going in two directions at once.

The boot menu you are referring to is the windows xp boot menu. Since you removed Windows XP, you should not need it. I could tell you how to rid yourself of that, but....

Then you want to edit theboot menu options, for the program you deleted. I'd never thought of this, but there is no reason why you could not continue using the boot menu from XP for other OSs, should you have them.

So you ask how to get rid of it, but then ask how to use it?

Tell you what....let's remove XP from the menu and then you can amplify what your goal is as far as using it....

Need you to post your boot.ini file
