Aurora popups, buddy.exe[RESOLVED]

Hello. A couple of days ago I somehow caught something and was getting numerous popups. I did some google research and solved some of the problems. Norton found and deleted Backdoor.dsnx, Ad-Aware found at one point over 1000 critical objects! I deleted many suspicious files myself which included: pacis.exe, installer_marketing18.exe, tool2_667279.exe,main.exe, pop2.exe, 20007.exe,cxtpls_loader.exe etc. I also deleted some kind of Websearch toolbar that installed itself and something called Virtual Bouncer.

Now, I have this file called ojsjhipnqy.exe in the that I can delete, but it comes back. If I look at the properties of this file it says the original filename is buddy.exe. I also get a pop up that says Aurora on the tool bar--anytime I open Internet Explorer. The Aurora icon is the same as the one next to the ojsj...file.

Sorry if I've written a novel, I've tried many things--including your suggestions on the "start here" page. Any help would be appreciated.

Please read through the instructions before you start (you may want to print this out).

Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

Please download, install and run this disk cleanup utility called Cleanup version 4.0!

It will get rid of any malware which may be hiding in your temp folders ( a common hiding place). You will also regain a massive amount of disk space. Here is a tutorial which describes its usage:

Check the custom settings to your liking under options, but be sure to delete temporary files and temporary internet files for all user profiles. Also, cleanout the prefetch folder and the recycle bin.
When the scan has finnished click on the close button.
Reboot when prompted to let it clean out the remaining files.

Lets see if this will finds any hidden Trojan’s http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
This setup contains the free as well as the plus-version of the ewido security suite. After the installation, a free 14-day test version containing all the extensions of the plus-version will be activated. At the end of the test phase, the extensions of the plus version are deactivated and the freeware version can be used unlimited times. The purchased license code of the plus version can be entered at any time.
Ewido will auto-udate tne run a full scan save the log when the scan has finnished.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items:

Run this in place of cleanup for now.

Clean out temporary and TIF files. Go to Start > Run and type in the box: cleanmgr. Let it scan your system for files to remove. Make sure all are checked and then press *ok* to remove:

Then continue with the fix

OK, I ran the cleanup 4.0 the box to check cleanout the prefetch folder was not available. But, I ran it anyway and it cleaned out almost 10000 files I think.

I couldn't find the files you said to delete in safe mode when I was in safe mode. I don't know if they were hiding or gone.

I'm attaching my pandasoft log and HJT log. Trendmicro found no viruses.

There was no file called cache32 etc, but there was a folder called cache32_rtneg2 should I delete the whole folder?

Hi Drexman

Download Pocket Killbox and unzip it; save it to your Desktop.
Run killbox and click the radio button that says Delete a file on reboot.
Copy and Paste them one at a time into the full path of file to delete box and click the red circle with a white cross in it.
The program will ask you if you want to reboot; say No each time until the last one has been pasted in where upon you should answer Yes.
Let the system reboot.

When I said yes to reboot in killbox it said "PendingFileRenameOperations registry data has been removed by External Processes!" so I don't know if that means it worked or it didn't.

I got zero viruses on the panda scan. Here is my HJT log:
