It's me again <_<

I'm not sure where to put this, but I suspect it's related to the spyware that was plaguing me earlier in this topic:

http://www.geekstogo...wtopic=1023&hl=

Ever since I made those corrections, I've been mostly clean.. a couple popups here and there even when I'm not visiting a website, but tolerable. The internet connects without mishap around 50% of the time, and when it doesn't, resetting the computer always works.

But recently, and for no apparent reason, I've come upon a much worse problem. Every time I connect to the internet, without fail, it works for about 60 seconds, and then I get the blue screen of death with the following message:

STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0x00000000 0x00000000).
The system has been shut down.

Nothing can escape this screen as far as I've found; the only option is to manually turn the computer off. :D

Here's my hijackthis log in case it's helpful:

I see just a few you can fix :D. Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = www.zestyfind.com/
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = www.zestyfind.com/
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {E3215F20-3212-11D6-9F8B-00D0B743919D} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\SZIEBHO.dll
O4 - Global Startup: Digital Line Detect.lnk = ?

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log. <_<

ARRGH!
Things are getting worse!
I reset the computer and tried logging in - it took over a minute of processing... and then this window popped up:
"A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license for this computer. Error Code: 0x80040057."
And then another window with a title bar of "Parser Message":
"Value creation failed " at line 422"
After I clicked ok, the Welcome screen was blank, with no logins. I reset, and tried logging in again.. after 90 seconds passed of no responce, I got another window titled "Parser Message", but the message was blank.

Another reset, done in safe mode. I had to log in twice because it closed the connection immediately after first login. Second time I managed to get in and I did another hijackthis:

After that I reset in normal mode, and it worked fine. It's started doing these sorts of things very recently, exactly after the internet errors started happening. The computer starts OK about 25% percent of the time, and the other 75% are a maze of creative error messages and system lag.

What's going on??? <_<

Try rebooting, keep tapping F8 at startup, when the menu appears, select "last known good configuration".

Hopefully, you're back in normal mode, download and run this file:

OK, I booted using "last known good configuration" like you said to.
But when I attempted to log on, it gave me a "A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license for this computer. Error Code: 0x80040057" message
Followed by a "Value cration failed " at line 422" message
The log-in screen then became corrupt with no log-in icons, and I restarted.

I selected "last known good configuration" again and got to the log in screen, and after clicking on my name, got the message, with a heading of "tsircusr.exe - application error" and a body of "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc00012d). Click on OK to terminate the application". I clicked OK and was given a blank desktop with no taskbar or icons. CTRL-ALT-DELETE did nothing. I restarted manually.

Try #3:
Selected "last known good configuration"
Clicked on my name - the screen spasmed and sent me back to the log in screen.
Clicked on my name again - gave me the same "the application failed" message as last time.
Had to reboot.

Try #4:
Booted normally, without F8
Clicked on my name - got a message headed "Windows Product Activation" with no body.
Then I got a message headed "Parser Message", also with no body.
Then I couldn't do anything but manually reboot.

Try #5:
Clicked F8, but it didn't give me the option to use any kind of mode, only asked which operating system I wanted to load. Since I only have one operating system so I chose that.
Another blank Windows Product Activation + Parser Message.
Clicked Restart but it was taking forever, so manually switched off the computer.

Try #6:
Booted normally, without F8
Gave me another message headed "Windows Product Activation", this time with a body of "This copy of Windows must be activated with Microsoft before you can log on. Do you want to activate now?". Yes or no buttons supplied.
I was struck with a weird sense of distortion, having purchased Windows legally and had it installed for years. Clicked NO.
It logged me off, back to the log-in screen. I logged on again.
I got another "the application failed".. message, except this time userinit.exe was selected to fail, not tsircusr.exe
Then I was given a blank desktop and could do nothing but reboot.

Try #7:
I selected "last known good configuration"
It gave me another "windows must be activated.." message. This time I clicked yes.
I got the "A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license.." message again.
Then I got a blank welcome screen without log-in icons. I could do nothing but manually reboot.

Try #8:
I rebooted normally.
Got a blank "Windows Product Activation" and "Parser Message" messages again.
it logged me in and instantly logged me out again.
The welcome screen wouldn't work anymore, so I manually restarted.

Try #9:
Rebooted normally.
Got the "A problem is preventing Windows.." message again.
Restarted.

Try #10:
I selected Safe Mode, since neither "last known good configuration" nor normal modes were working.
I selected my name on the log-in screen, logged me in and logged me out again instantly.
I logged in again, and it said, "Windows cannot load the user's profile. A default profile is being logged in instead. There is insufficient system resources to complete the log-in". How many years did it take for them to write all these error messages???
Then it logged me in safe mode, complete with a desktop, taskbar, and icons.
Seizing my chance, I transferred kill2me to my computer via floppy disk and ran it.
It said there was no sign of infection, and if I wanted to proceed. yes.
Then it said that Look2me has been removed if it existed.
Then I restarted.

Try #11
Restarted normally, but got a blank "Windows Product Activation" message.
Rebooted.

Try #12
Booted in safe mode, and this time didn't get any "cannot load user's profile" message.
I ran hijackthis
And here it is:

You're going to have to perform a repair installation of Windows XP. See this tutorial:
http://www.geekstogo...p?showtopic=138

Hard to say exactly what caused the problem, but often a Windows patch gone awry can lead to these problems. I see you have NortonAV installed, be sure it has the latest definitions and perform a full system scan weekly.
