I really do hope you can help me out!

I've played maple about a year ago, i uninstalled cuz i grew bored of it! Now that i refound interest i reinstalled Maple! Everything went fine with the installation! Now... when i click the maple story shortcut icon the game does not run/execute, nothing happens as if i didnt click it! I've reinstalled several times, that doesnt help!! Please do help, it is starting to annoy me! :whistling:

Nothing we can help with. You will have to contact their support. Most likely it's the game copy protection scheme they are running that's causing the issue.

there is no copy protection with maplestory. its a free downloadable game. if it's the .exe thats hanging, i suggest to uninstall the game, and then search your program files and registry for anything related to maplestory. i know that when it uninstalls it leaves the game guard folder in the program files.

you are correct, it is not copy protection. It is anti cheat called Game Guard.
