Your computer is old, probably not the best idea to go upgrading it too much if you want to play the latest games. What games do you intend on playing? What's your upgrade budget? Depending on those answers, you would probably want to get some much better parts (i.e. a new system).

Yeah that's right, it's just a matter of getting those parts. Ideally you'd want a new motherboard, RAM, video card, and processor. You'd also need a new power supply to power these parts.

Which is only a hard drive, DVD drive, case, and OS away from a completly new build....

That's why I asked for information about a) what games are going to be played, and b) some idea of a budget. bloodb, if you are purely interested in information, how much it might cost you etc... Then please just let us know this is the case. Otherwise we're going to start recommending parts and deals for you to a set budget...

ok have 250harddrive and a 30 gb harddrive and a dvd burner already and i want to play the newest games and the money,idk because i dont have money right now maybe later

Yea it means"I dont know"and yea it would be better to build a system because I always thought I would start with latest items and right now thats not necessary and I look up what I need for a new system,and the number (1's) thats next to the item is the things I already have

Even if you aren't buying now, if you're only going to be able to afford an $800 budget then there's no point in us recommending a $2000 super-unit.
