We are running WXP (pack 2) on a Dell laptop. The audio settings are set to mute...but we keep getting a very loud beep when certain actions are completed (arriving mail, closing certain programs etc...).

I am guessing there is a box to check or uncheck somewhere....?

What am I missing.
