hello, i have built quite a few systems in the past and i am having some difficulties with my newest build.

i ordered a socket 939 Mach Speed mobo from newegg originally and had an easy time setting it up. the one problem i encountered was that my IDE hard drie would not recognise either as a master or slave. secondly my cd-rom drives were not recognise either. this made me believe that i had bad IDE port on the board.

early today i drove to my local frys and bought an ECS KN1 Lite, installed it and i am having more trouble than with the Mach Speed. basically the ecs boards normally boot to an KN1 logo screen, then shift into normal boot cycle. however it hangs on the logo screen for a very long time, sometimes it wont get past the screen. however the times i have gotten to get passed the logo it would do a mem and processor check as always, but when it begins to detect my drives it idles and does nothing.

im hoping i havent bought 2 bad boards in a row, but i could use any advice somebody could lend.
