11 days since first post, been in waiting room 5 days. Ready to give up & buy new computer. Need to work but can't diagnose problem myself. Please help! .....CB :whistling:

I glanced at your HJT log, and didn't notice anything bad. Which brings us back to a hardware issue. The 0x...24 error you report is a pretty generic data corruption error. It can be caused by among other things a bad motherboard, overheating, overclocking, a bad harddrive, bad harddrive cable, etc. All of which can be difficult to troubleshoot online, not to mention hands-on. You report bringing it to the GeekSquad. You may want to bring it back to them and inform them your problem is not resolved. Sorry we weren't able to help you. We don't pretend to be able to help everyone, with every issue. Good luck resolving yours.
