Ok...i got the Smitfraud thing but i cant access it in safe mode..i dont really understand what to do.

Sounds like you have some other malware infecting your PC.

gentlemen and ladies

my laptop got infected with the trojan w32 looksky and i was at something of a loss as to how to get rid of it...i did a google search which brought me here and using your instructions and the SmitFraud software i was able to get rid of the infection...

i will be following up regularly to make sure the infection does not return

One question. What do I do with the rapport.txt file that was created? I noticed in the forums that people were posting theirs.

I had to register just to say thank you, thank you, thank you for the instructions on how to remove this vicious little thing. Two full days I spent running various scans until I happened upon this site. With your advice I had the problem sorted in minutes.

THANK YOU my moms computer has been infected for nearly a MONTH now i did restores, i deleted programs i searched the entire C: drive and nothing...did these simple steps took me less than 10 mins, and TA DA all better...thank you soooooo much
