I looked at the link of where you bought the ram. It seems that you bought two modules chosen as a set to operate in dual channel. That's by itself is good and should work on your computer either in dual channel mode (you have to insert one module in one slot of each of the two lot groups. For example, the first module on the slot closest to the cpu and the second one on the third slot). You may have to enable dual channel mode in the BIOs.

You can also set the modules one near the other and then they will work in single channel mode.

It is possible that one of the modules is faulty (even in the link there are complaints) or that some damage occured to the motherboard or cpu.

Please reset the bios again by taking out the battery for about 15 minutes. Don't forget to the disconnect the power cable from the power supply unit before taking the battery out.

Reinstall the battery and set time and date in the bios. Look in the menus and if there is anything related to single or dual channel enable single channel. Insert the old module in the first slot from the cpu and see what happens. If it doesn't work well try it in the second slot. If it works well then switch off the computer and replace the old modules with one of the new ones. If no good, try the other from the new set. If good, take out the new one and install in it's place the second new module. If the other one is also working then insert the two side by side (in single mode).

Please report what happens.
