Wow! This post is nearly 10 years old. But what i can say from my previous experience.. SEO industry keep changing as the algorithm change, 10 years ago maybe it is just a few backlink, you will shoot to the top, but right now it is totally different games. The general thing i could say... "Content is King, Backlink is Queen". In the end it is all depend on the competition of certain keyword.

A quick glance shows us the following an average SEO expert charges between $80 and $130 per hour.

Further, the average monthly retainer lies somewhere between $750 and $1500 per month. Performance-based SEO is free to start, and has dynamic pricing.
I hope this will help you lots.

If I'm not mistaken, it depends on companies which provide their service. I've been using SEO services for a long time, so I know what I'm talking about. When I started my site, I didn't have a lot of visitors, so I decided to increase the popularity of my products, so I used Google in order to find something there about advertising. I've been searching for 2 hours and I found out about SEO and about a company which I still use, check it, if you want to use their service:  I've been using it for a long time and I can say that the prices are affordable so you can try it out, if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

Can you trust them? Could this service affect my link building strategy?
