Can only visit some websites, what the heck?

I have an internet connection where this computer connects to another pc wirelessly through a usb driver, and suddenly I can't connect to some websites, like hotmail or microsoft, it won't load....i've done virus and spyware checks, cleaned up cache, history cookies, you name it. And another pc on the network has the net working fine so....

somebody help pls...

I believe that Hotmail requires javascript and possibly activex to run for your browser to load the page. Would this apply to you?

Also, is there an error that shows on screen when you can't connect to these 2 websites, or does it just not show up?

Hotmail needs Javascript but it doesn't need ActiveX (therefore it will work outside of Internet Explorer).
