This falls more under "etiquette", rather than good grammar. :)

I like this category :)

Thanks Kat

the use of may and can as in "can i?" vs "may i?" is another one i see

also who vs whom as in "for whom the bells toll" vs "who is ringing the bells?" is a more complicated one that is beyond me.

and while i am at it, me vs myself is one i have yet to get my head around

Ok, what's the proper use for which, what, in, on and at?

Examples:
I live on/in/at #123 Abc St.
My birthday is in/on/at January...
That depends on what/which computer you have...
I want to talk with/to you...

:)

I think everyone would get a kick out of this apparently someone got sick and tired of people spelling definitely wrong that they made a website about it.

Yeah I agree, tux, that's definitely one word that gets spelt incorrectly a lot.

I cannot believe the number of times I've seen somebody write "defiantly", and I have to read the sentence three times before I understand - "Oh, that's supposed to be definitely!" :)

Good site. Bookmarked for future dealings with people who didn't go through second grade :)

I still spell definitely wrong... spell check catches it before I post though.

@Fredil, I did pass second grade.

Well you see, his statement implies that the spell checker is some sort of exclusive feature, when it's not :)

Don't you mean "Nawth"? I grew up in New Hamp-shuh so the consonant "R" was unfamiliar to me until I was a teenage-uh.
Johanna

Hahaha, is that okay in these parts? Since I am from Boston, I am also unfamiliar with said letter. :)
