I noticed that my Ghz was at 1.6 when it should've been at 2.8. When I changed it back my computer started to reboot during games. I don't think it's a virus and I have scanned before and found nothing. Any suggestions?

You speed may be too high. It could be rebooting because the CPU is overheating underload.
If this is your problem, you may be able to increase your speed with a better heatsink and high volume fans.

Do you have a AMD processor? AMD processors are clocked differently then Intels.
