I was getting alot of pop ups, which all started on the 10th. I went through the process to begin with, scanned with ad-aware se about 4 times, it was getting alot each time, now it only gets cookies.

Scanned with spybot with got some cashbuddies and surksidekick stuff. Cleaned them all off.

Ran CW shredder and there was nothing.

Norton has not picked up anything, I am planning on doing a pandasoftware online scan soon just to make sure.

Not sure what there is left to do because I am still getting the same pop up adds whenenver I connect to the internet. Its really annoying and freezes up whatever page I am looking at.

I will post a hijackthis log.

Any help to erradicate the popups would help.

*Download and install Registrar Lite version 2.00
*Double click the purple Registrar Lite icon on your desktop.
*Copy the line below and paste it into the "Address" field (located at the top) of the program:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects

*Click the "Go" button.
*On the right-hand side it will load all of your BHOs (you'll just see a bunch of numbers)
*Locate the following entries:

{00000000-DD60-0064-6EC2-6E0100000000}
{549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3}
{FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC}

*Right click on each one and go to "Delete" (doublecheck to make sure you're only deleting the entries above!).
*Exit Registrar Lite.

Restart your computer and post a new HiJackThis log.

I just ran a full online scan at pandasoftware's website and they picked up about 17 adware and spyware items that ad-aware is not picking up. Here is the log.

You may want to print these instructions out before continuing

Please press CTRL-ALT-DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the processes tab and end the following processes:

winupdt.exe

Disconnect from the Internet. Make sure all programs and Windows are closed. Run HiJackThis. Please place a check next to the entries listed below, if found. After they all have a check next to them, click "FIX CHECKED".

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [winupdtl] C:\WINDOWS\System32\winupdt.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AUNPS2] RUNDLL32 AUNPS2.DLL,_Run@16
O16 - DPF: {B4831DED-3A57-4CC6-9E4B-0E7C5B08DBF4} - http://www.alwaysupd...ll/aun_0032.exe

Close HiJackThis.

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode. You can do this by restarting your computer and continuously tapping F8 until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode, then hit enter.

Be sure you're able to VIEW HIDDEN FILES

Use Windows Explorer and delete the following files, in bold (if found).

C:\WINDOWS\System32\winupdt.exe
AUNPS2.DLL

Reboot your computer in normal mode.

Download, install, and run CleanUp!

Post a new HiJackThis log.
