keith, i couldnt find any voltage..this is what got printed

Run Winaudit, click audit PC, then click the + next to system management, then click memory controller, look for memory module voltage

thta is what i did earlier, and that is what i printed for you.

when i ran teh audit, i looked for system management. i clicked on teh +. i looked for memory controller and when i clicked that, i got this:

i feel like an idiot keith. i cannot see any voltages. is there a way for me to post what i am looking at so u can see it too?

oh..is the version 2.20.405 an out dated one??

keith,
i ran the test after doing the setup defaults for the bios. and guess what...it ran all the through test 11. it did not hang up-it passed!

i did not stop it and let it continue. i was going to let it do 2 complete passes of standard tests. i await your reply.

hey keith,
i just got up and see that it has passed 8 complete cycles. what a dramatic change! does this mean the ram sticks are good? and i hate to sound uneducated (which i am) but what did the bios change do?

(yes, i want to live in hawaii, have a laptop that works, AND be educated) :whistling: :blink: :help:

The BIOS defaults usually set everything to work as well as possible together, some have enhanced settings but default is the safest

So, with the money you saved on the memory, the beers must be on you when DancingDolphin drops me off (from the yacht) in Hawaii

i will stop the testing and try to see what i noticed in the first place: the slow opening of emails in outlook

u coming to hawaii???
