As far as I know Lavasoft decided to discontinue their free support for the time being. Here at GeeksToGo we have an excellent Lavasoft support team who were members at the Lavasoft Support Forums that will be more than happy to help you

It appears that Lavasoft has chosen to close their support forums. Unfortunately, that affects users of the free version the most.

We do not have the staff or expertise to support a number of Lavasoft SE logs, but consider this an open invitation to any Team Lavasoft members that may want to find a new home. If you're interested in continuing your efforts here, we'll be glad to provide the resources. Please PM me or reply here if interested.

I just wish to say thank you very much, Admin, for extending the invitation to the Team Lavasoft members to carry on their excellent help with the AdAware program here. It will be a great benefit all around. I have added this site to my AdAware support information for future reference.

My thanks as well to all the Team Lavasoft members who have joined here to continue providing your expertise and great support of this program. Keep up the good work.

htmagallanes and Jan -- thank you for the kind words.  Our goals are as the rest of the security community -- to help people regain control of their computer. 

A number of the ASAP sites have provided a place for Ad-Aware support and it certainly appears that Geeks to Go! is a favorite.  Everyone has been most kind and welcoming.

I look forward to being able to continue assisting with Ad-Aware.  Not only will we be able to help people such as yourself clean your computer, but also in those cases where there are more complex infections, what is done here will ease the pressure in the HJT Forum.

I'm a regular responder on various newsgroups, and have already heard from several friends asking where they can go now to get help for their Ad-Aware. problems I'm really glad to be able to give them a good reference. As a trainee for the HJT program, I know those forums on all boards are really swamped and can use all the help they can get to ease the load.
