reconfigure hard drive

I have a seaegate 500 gb hard drive I removed from another system I have.It now has windows
vista premium on it and it has a raid 0 partition on it.I want to reconfigure it for full
partition win xp pro,and use it in another computer.What is the best way to go about this.

put the drive in the new computer....format it (either with the XP disk...or wipe it clean with DBAN first)...then install windows..
