Hey all,

I'm running a camera out in the woods. Is there any way to get a USB Camera to record video to say, a memory stick, without going through a computer? I don't have a lap top or extra digital camera to spare.

A USB webcam (if that's what you have) needs software both to view the subject and to perform recording function. That means it has to be connected to a PC. No way round it.
