Had windows XP(SP2) crash on boot up. Installed Vista Home Basic as clean install and deleted Windows.old as boot to old OS still did not work. Can I eliminate the boot choice to default to Vista and skip the delay or enter Vista boot?

Hi WizzardOne...

There are a couple of ways you can do that. You can use a program like Vista Boot Pro to remove the prompt from the Vista BCD...which is what I usually recommend.

OR, you can open the Vista Advanced System Properties and remove the "Time to Display" reference in the Startup and Recovery section.
