Ethernet Controller

BAM! ....as the maintenance folk at my plant would say "well there's your problem right there"...you're gonna need to get the driver for that...

is this a prebuilt machine (like a dell or hp) or custom built?

It is a MDG A canadian brand APTON model.
- Intel 945gtpl S775 Mainboard
- Intel 2.66GHz Dual Core CPU
- Intel Pro Ethernet 10/100
- 2.5 GB DDR2@ ram

http://www.mdg.ca/en...t/servicefaq/#2 this is their faq...click on the link for "Downloading Windows Drivers - Word Format" ...this will bring up a word document telling you how to look up your system model number and get the drivers from the intell website

Yeah the cd I used to reloaed XP was missing the driver for the ethernet connection, had to go to the manufacture website and download the driver. Thanks for everybodies help :whistling:
