Sending and receiving email anonymously is kind of hard, considering it has to go somewhere and you have to provide personal information to set an account up with somebody in the first place.

As to surfing anonymously, this is kind of the default anyway. If you don't fill any forms in on any sites, you can't be identified anyway. All anybody can get will be an IP address which, probably in America, will only go as far as to who you connect with and not which of the 50 states you're in.

Hi georgetok,

So what is it that you're into that requires that kind of secrecy and anonymity? Fell free to PM me with the answer should it be of too sensitive a nature to post in public.

Wendy,

Same general reasons why most people choose to stay anonymous, nothing critical.

Trying to avoid junk mail & ads & cookies etc.

You could use a proxy website to surf through, that will cloak your identity to a certain extent.

Cool, but if your security is critical to you...then don't use JAP as the German government has back-doored that group of servers.
