I'm using Windows XP Pro SP2. I noticed that my windows was not updating, and I starting getting a message stating Wuauclt.exe has found a problem and needs to close. At this time I was using IE7 and it disappeared and reverted by to IE 6. When I try to reinstall IE7 I get a message stating "Setup could not verigy the integirty of the file Update.inf. Make sure that Cryptographic service is running. (I've done this and it is). I also receive the message that "Generic Host Process for Win32 services has encountered a problem and needs to close." I also have received a message that the window installer (Msiexec.exe) is unable to run and needs to shut down.

When running a anti-virus program in safe-mode it came up with a Trojan horse Generic s.WN & S.FCB, also a virus Win32/ Heur. I attempted to clean with AVG, don't know if it got it or not, still getting the Wuauclt.exe error so something still wrong.

I've used the following

HJT pre-scan
Vundofix - no infected files
Smitfraud - no infected files
Bitdefender - no virus
Ad-aware cleaning
Sfc /scannow
Spybot
AVG Free Edition
CCleaner
HJT post scan.

Here is the post scan.
