Hi,

I can't seem to track down the setting I'm looking for. I just started to use Outlook (moved from a mozilla reader) and I'm annoyed to no end by the need to have a "group" identified for single emails.

in other words, if I arrange my view to "group by subject" I will get a grouping (can collapse and expand) for every subject, even if there is only one mail for that subject.

This is a waste of space for me. it adds that extra uneeded line in my view.

I guess I'm used to my old reader where the first email in the group (thread) was expandable or collapsable to see other emails in that group. no need for that extra line to identify that specific group.

In fact, now that I've spelled it out, I realize that I don't even want that extra line for those groups that DO have multiple items.

really, just give me that little check box to expand or collapse next to the first item in each group.

is there any way to change my outlook settings to look like this? I really hate the wasted space.

Thanks in advance,
James
