Hi guys,

I was doing a little spring cleaning in my PC last night and accidentally deleted my sound driver.

It's a Dell Dimension B110.

I've been to the Dell site, downloaded the audio driver. Nothing.

I've been to forums-a-plenty and done what other topics and responses have said. Nothing.

I have the Windows XP Professional Install Disk, but seemed to have misplaced the product key. No reinstall.

Any idea what I can do to salvage my desktop? I needs me some iTunes!

Any, and I mean ANY help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

Go to start/run and type in devmgmt.msc.
Tell me what items are red or question marks.

That generally indicates that all drivers are installed and working.
How did you uninstall the driver?
Was it working prior to your cleaning?
What did you do when you "cleaned"?
Are you using external speakers? If so, you could have knocked a cable loose.
Did you try a system restore to a point previous to the problem?
