I had the same exact problem. I would get disconnected hundreds of times and then get to play a game maybe once. I have no idea why it stopped but now my Xbox 360 is a phantom as far as my cg814wg v2 is concerned. It used to show up under connected computers all the time but now it won't show up no matter what I do. And I have to manually put in the information such as IP Address and stuff. Otherwise it won't discover them itself. From what I have read from everyone else, you have to just get a new gateway. Xbox says this one is approved to work for xbox live but it seems that everyone that uses this one has the exact same problem. I will give xbox a call here in a few minutes and tell them the problem. I really don't want to have to go through the process of getting a new one and installing it because if that doesn't fix my problem I am just going to be very angry at the entire situation. But anyway, from what I am hearing now, you just have to ask your service provider for a new gateway or router.
