Hello,

I tried using File Recovery from PCTools, and I ended up recovering some txt file that I accidently deleted. After recovering and saving the new file, I opened it:

Now this file seemed to be written over, but the software determined it was salvagable, originally it was a plain text file with english and a regular 10 digit password (unencrypted) so when I opened the file with notepad I can check the password and paste it without having to remember it. All I remember was the password was 10 digits, full of alphanumeric characters. It appears that Windows over wrote the file's partition after it was deleted, so now the file is either useless or partially recoverable. The password was on the last line of the file if I remember properly. I just need to get most of it back and the rest I will have to guess. Is there any software that can figure out which parts are what and help recover it? Another thing was that the password was all caps.
Thanks for any help.
