Hello,

I am having a big problem with an old machine...

The machine was working fine this morning, but I accidently unplugged the hard drive. now when i hook the pc up and start it the monitor stays asleep if the hard drive is connected, but if i turn it off, unplug the hard drive, and start it back up, the monitor turns on. I have tried two different monitors and am having the same problem with both.

:whistling:

thanks!

Try to connect the disk to the second IDE on-board connection. Use the 80 lead flat cable of IDE 0. Disconnect all other IDE devices.
