When I shut down Vista, the computer will go through all the shutdown routines and the moniter will turn off, however the tower stays on and I have to shut it down manually. This is also a newly built computer so I'm not sure if it is a problem with some of the connections or if it's a Vista problem. Does anyone know what this might be about?

What motherboard do you have? I have exactly the same problem, and I found these forums via searching the problem on Google.. The thing is, the other person who made a post about it here had the same motherboard as me..

I have an ASUS P5N-E SLI motherboard.

Edit: Heh, you have the same graphics card - but what about the motherboard, since you don't list that in your specs?
