Okay, I am buying a computer from a website and here is the parts I have chosen, I am not set on some things and would like some professional advise.

This computer will be used for Video transcoding, HD-Video capture, and Gaming(FPS and RTS).

***I have a Sony DVD burner and a 160GB seagate storage HDD I will be installing myself, they are both a few years old, should still work in new system right?***

CAS: ($20 off Mail-in Rebate) RaidMax Smilodon Med-Tower 420W Case w/ Side-Panel Window [+1]

CASUPGRADE: 12in COLD CATHODE NEON LIGHT [+10] (BLUE COLOR)

CS_FAN: Extra Case Cooling Fan [+3] (2 x Fans [+3])

CPU: (Sckt775)Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6850 CPU @ 3.00GHz 1333FSB 4MB L2 Cache 64-bit [+116]

MEMORY: 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400 DDR2/800 Dual Channel Memory ($5 off Mail-in Rebate) Mushkin Xtreme w/ Heat Spreader PN: 991523
***32-bit Vista can only do 3.2GB?? Will this be change in possible updates? Do I need 4 GB RAM? How much will the 64-bit ver. handle?***

OS: Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Home Premium [+104] (32-bit Edition)
***Will getting the 64-bit ver. really limit the programs/peripherals I can use?***

POWERSUPPLY: Apevia ATX-LCD650W Quartz Aluminum LCD w/ Voltages and Fan Speed Controller & Display

**** I have been advised not to get this PSU. I realize the brand is not known for good quality but if I decide to go Quad Core, SLI, or want to overclock I will get a new PSU. ****

****Will this one supply proper constant voltage to my system? If not can some one suggest another PSU that will work well for my needs(right now) that has some of the cool features of this one????******

CD: SONY 16X DVD-ROM [-17] (BLACK COLOR)

CABLE: Round Cable Upgrade for Hard Drive, Optical Drive & Floppy Drive

FAN: Vigor Gaming Monsoon II Lite CLT-M2LI LGA775 CPU Air Conditioner Cooling System

HDD: Single Hard Drive (74GB Gaming Western Digital Rapter 10,000RPM SATA150 16MB Cache WD740ADFD [+103])

MOTHERBOARD: (Quad-Core FSB1333) Asus Striker Extreme nForce 680i SLI Chipset LGA775 FSB1333 DDR2 Mainboard [+250]

PRO_WIRING: Professional Wiring for All WIRINGs Inside The System Chasis with High Performance Thermal Compound on CPU [+19]

TEMP: SILVERSTONE EUDEMON SST-FP52 LCD DISPLAY FRONT PANEL [+49] (BLACK COLOR)

UPS: OPTI-UPS SS1200 AVR Voltage Stabilizer [+20] (BLACK COLOR)

VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB 16X PCI Express XFX Extreme Edition Powered by NVIDIA
***This is my main problem, I can afford w/e I like really but I don't want to spend more than I need to. ***

-Would I be better off with the GTS 640MB?
-On the other hand would it be worth it to spend the xtra 100 and get the Ultra?
-Should I say [Bleep] Nvida all together and get a 2900 HD?

Thats all for now, Im at work and time to go home. If I forgot anything lemme know please!!! and thank you in advance!!!!

32-bit Vista can only do 3.2GB?? Will this be change in possible updates? Do I need 4 GB RAM? How much will the 64-bit ver. handle?

All 32-bit versions of Windows can only talk to up to 4Gb of memory with the exception of Win95, 98 and ME which can only talk to 1Gb, 1Gb and 1.5Gb respectively. This is non-negotiable as it would require major re-engineering of the Windows Software AND the programs you use.
64-bit versions of Windows have varying upper limits depending on which version you buy: Home Basic can talk to 8Gb, Home Premium to 16Gb, every other Vista 64-bit version (and also XP Pro 64-bit): 128Gb.

Will getting the 64-bit ver. really limit the programs/peripherals I can use?

Yes. Seriously in some cases until the market catches up.

If you are doing video editing or video storage or anything like that, you are strongly advised to get a second hard drive as big as you can. It will fill up quickly with raw video.

Oh ouch! I don't think God hates you... But seriously, forget the tooth, just yank it out yourself, think of your computer! Or at least get a second opinion on that tooth, that's a lot of money!

LOL, yea... I am applying for financing on the dental work. Decided I'm keeping the pc no matter what, even if I have to call my parents and beg for a loan.
